Design Supervision & Philosophy
This product is designed under the supervision of
Naomichi Takahashi,
a Japanese master shoemaker known for his expertise in shoe last design and comfort-focused philosophy.
It is also worn daily by another master shoemaker,
Mr. Sasaki.
These shoes are not handcrafted,
and they are not made in Japan.
However, the essential principles of shoemaking—
how a shoe fits the foot and supports natural movement—are carefully incorporated based on decades of professional experience
and applied as a design philosophy.
Hands-Free Slip-In Design
Based on a design philosophy focused on comfort and efficiency,
this shoe features a hands-free slip-in construction supervised by
Naomichi Takahashi.

By simplifying the act of putting on and taking off shoes,
this design supports a smoother, more efficient business routine.
Waterproof Performance
The upper features a special rubber-coated treatment combined with an internal waterproof membrane.
The shoes passed the SATRA TM230:2017 water resistance flex test,
showing no water penetration after 20,000 flex cycles.
They remain waterproof even when exposed to water up to 5 cm from the sole,
making them reliable in heavy rain and puddles.
Non-Slip Outsole Performance
The outsole is made from foamed natural rubber with exceptional grip.
It provides reliable traction not only on wet asphalt,
but also on snowy and icy surfaces.
The level of grip is strong enough to allow running even on an ice rink
under controlled conditions.
Cushioning & Shock Absorption
The high-resilience natural rubber outsole cushions the foot
while providing responsive support.
It absorbs impact during walking,
reducing strain on the feet and lower body,
and remains comfortable even during long hours on your feet.
Breathable Linen Insole & Odor Control
Natural linen is used for both the insole and midsole.
Linen offers excellent moisture absorption and breathability,
along with antibacterial and odor-resistant properties.
In a moisture permeability test (JIS L 1099 A-172),
the shoes achieved a 99% humidity reduction after two hours,
meeting SEK certification standards.
