Know your size instantly, from your usual shoe size
Choose the size of the shoes you usually wear — Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and so on.
※ Sizes marked by Nike, Adidas and others are the shoe’s inner length (including toe room), so they read about 1–1.5cm larger than your actual foot.
CHAPTER 01
A sneaker’s 26cm is not
your actual foot length
Sneakers leave room at the toe — SANAX is designed to match your actual foot length.
SNEAKERS — 1 to 1.5cm of room
Built with about 1–1.5cm of toe room so the foot can move inside the shoe.
→ actual foot approx. 24.5–25.0cm
SANAX — snug from heel to toe
Designed to match your actual foot length. No room needed — heel to toe, held firmly, is correct.
→ choose SANAX size M
CHAPTER 02
A little tight at first is exactly right
The leather and lining are firm and may feel a little tight. This is completely normal.
Fine leather softens with body heat and friction, beginning to mold to your foot.
A one-of-a-kind fit, perfectly matched to your foot, is complete.
“Choosing large from the start leaves the slipper too big once the leather breaks in. Start from a just size, and it becomes uniquely yours the more you wear it.”

CHAPTER 03
“A heel that sits snug”
— that is the correct fit.

✓ The correct fit
The heel sits snugly at the very back of the slipper, and the toes settle in naturally.
✕ If it’s too large
- The foot slides back and forth inside the slipper
- The heel lifts with every step
- The toes grip unnecessarily, causing fatigue

CHAPTER 05
Wide feet or a high instep? Consider one size up.
WIDE FIT
Wide feet
Rather than the just size for length, choose the same size as your usual sneaker (or one up).
HIGH INSTEP
High instep
Instep height can’t be judged from the chart alone. If your instep is high, also consider one size up.
HOW TO MEASURE
For a more precise answer — measure your foot directly
If the sneaker guide doesn’t seem right, or you’d like to be sure, measure your actual foot length.
From the heel to the tip of your longest toe — that is your “actual foot length.”
Stand straight on a flat floor with your heel touching the wall.
Measure from the heel to the tip of your longest toe with a ruler or tape.
Feet are largest toward evening — measuring then is more accurate.
If they differ, choose based on the larger foot.

FAQ
Sizing questions, answered
The questions we hear most about choosing a size.
Basic size selection
QI wear 26cm in Nike — what SANAX size am I?
Size M. Sneaker sizes include about 1–1.5cm of toe room, so a 26cm sneaker usually means an actual foot of 24.5–25.0cm — SANAX M fits snugly heel to toe.
QIt felt a little tight when I tried it on. Should I size up?
No — a little tight at first is exactly right. The leather softens and molds to your foot within 1–2 weeks. Sizing up leads to slipping once broken in.
QI have wide feet — which size should I choose?
Choose the same size as your usual sneaker (or one up), rather than the just size for length. Adding a note about your foot in the message field also helps.
QMy left and right feet are different sizes.
Choose based on the larger foot, and write the difference in the message field (e.g. “Right 25.5cm / Left 25.0cm”) — our artisans will take it into account.
QIt’s a gift and I don’t know their size.
Their usual sneaker size is the easiest clue — the chart converts it directly. If in doubt, contact us with what you know and we’ll advise.
Exchanges & returns
QCan I exchange the size if it doesn’t fit?
Because every pair is handcrafted to order, size exchanges cannot be accepted. Please use this guide carefully — and remember that snug at first is correct.
QCan I ask about sizing before ordering?
Of course. Tell us your usual sneaker size and your preferred fit through the contact form — individual size advice is free.
Comfort & break-in
QHow long does the leather take to break in?
Roughly 2 weeks to 1 month of regular wear. Body heat and movement soften the leather until it follows the shape of your foot.
QIs there a size that feels comfortable from day one?
Choosing a larger size feels easy at first but loosens with wear. The just size is designed to become the most comfortable once broken in.
QWhat if I’ll wear them with socks?
Thin socks need no adjustment. If you always wear thick socks, consider one size up — or ask us for advice.
STILL UNSURE?
Still deciding on a size?
Tell us the sneaker size you usually wear and your preferred fit (snug or slightly relaxed), and our staff will gladly help you individually.
